ISAIAH 9:1-2: "Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.

The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined."
Ministry in Galilee MATTHEW 4:12-16: "Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;

And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:


That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,

The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;

The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up."
DEUTERONOMY 18:15: "The Lord thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;" As a Prophet JOHN 6:14: "Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world." (JOHN 1:45; ACTS 3:19-26)
PSALM 110:4: "The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek." As a Priest, like Melchizedek HEBREWS 6:20: "Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec." (HEBREWS 5:5-6; HEBREWS 7:15-17)
ISAIAH 53:3: "He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not." (PSALM 2:2) His Rejection by Jews JOHN 1:11: "He came unto his own, and his own received him not." (JOHN 5:43; LUKE 4:29; LUKE 17:25; LUKE 23:18)

ZECHARIAH 9:9: "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass." ZECHARIAH 11:12: "And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver." (ZECHARIAH 11:13) Sold for Thirty Pieces of Silver MATTHEW 26:15: "And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver." (MATTHEW 27:3-10)
ZECHARIAH 11:13: "And the Lord said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord." Money to be Returned for a Potter's Field MATTHEW 27:6-7: "And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.

And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in." (MATTHEW 27:3-5,8-10)
PSALM 109:7,8: "When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.

Let his days be few; and let another take his office."
Judas' Office to be Taken by Another ACTS 1:18-20: "Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.

And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood.

PSALM 69:4: "They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away." (PSALM 109:3-5) Was Hated Without a Cause JOHN 15:23-25: "He that hateth me hateth my Father also. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause."
ISAIAH 53:4-5: "Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

PSALM 109:4 "For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer." (ISAIAH 53:12) Prays for His Enemies LUKE 23:34: "Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots."
