Jesus Wants to Heal You
A few scriptures from the Bible which show how to experience redemption and healing through prayer.
"...and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses" (MATTHEW 8:16-17).
"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever" (HEBREWS 13:8).
"And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee" (EXODUS 23:25).
All who believe in Jesus and follow Him receive forgiveness of their sins:
"To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins" (ACTS 10:43).
Everybody who believes in Jesus is being set free from the desire to sin. (Alcoholism, smoking, drug abuse, etc., - sins you cannot stop without help). The Bible says of Christ:
"Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed" (1 PETER 2:24).
The last part of the above-mentioned Bible verse tells us that our body too, will be healed if we believe in Jesus. He took our sicknesses upon Himself, just as He bares our sins. He took them so that we would not have to carry them. He instead carried them for us that we should be freed from evil. The Bible says He:
"...healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses" (MATTHEW 8:16-17).
He who believes in Jesus, never has to fall sick. The Bible says:
"...nothing shall by any means hurt you" (LUKE 10:19).
You who have not yet received Jesus as your Saviour and physician, receive Him now. It is very easy, easier than most people think. Let me give you an example. The Gospel of Mark (MARK 5:25-29), tells of a woman who has been sick for 12 years. Just as so many others, she trusted in medical science and sought help from many physicians. We read in verses 25-26:
"And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse..."
But then she heard of Jesus and decided to believe in Him. Jesus healed her instantly without using knives or medicine. We read about it in verses 27-29:
"When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague."
It is that easy to believe. Believing is nothing strange or supernatural. All people have a certain belief. You need to believe to go to the doctor's, to drive a car, or to work. You have to believe in the same manner if you go to Jesus. Believe that Jesus is God's Son and victorious over all evil and confess it freely before your relatives, friends and acquaintances, and then you will be saved:
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (ROMANS 10:9-10).
Jesus Wants to Heal the Sick Even Today
The following pictures show how a little boy who broke his arm is being healed through intercession:
(2) Pastor A. A. Allen examines how soft the arm is and tries to find the fracture with his finger.
(3) After being prayed for, the boy was instantly healed and able to lift up the arm and use it. On the picture you can see how he tries to reach a dime Pastor Allen is holding up in front of him.
(1) After breaking his arm the little boy was not able to move it for two years. It looked as if it was twisted like a cloth.
