How I Got a Place in a “Christian School”

My testimony is about the miracle of how I got a place in a “Christian School”, which I started to attend this summer. Firstly, it was really a miracle that I got a place there, because too many children were already registered and there was not enough room for all to attend. They usually only choose children that already had, or have had, a brother or a sister at the school, or children that are legally required to attend school and have registered a year in advance.

I was able to register for a place at the last minute! Finally, we received confirmation that I was accepted into the School, even though I don’t have a brother or sister there and I am only required to attend school next year. My mother and I prayed for this and the Lord opened many doors where she could speak to my teacher and spread leaflets. She could also pray for a pupil who had broken his arm, which was witnessed by many teachers and pupils!

It is a Christian school with Christian teachers. The headmaster was even a Missionary in South Africa for 15 years. Every morning, before the lessons start, we have a little meeting with the teacher where we pray, sing, or hear stories from the Bible. In the classroom we are only allowed to wear slippers. They do not celebrate Halloween, but instead we have what is called “Bible days”. Both my teachers are really strict, but are also like mums to us. I love them.

I also found a friend. Her name is Dorothea and she loves to pray and to sing, and she loves the Lord. Praise the Lord for this school.
