Bent Tooth Root Healed
My name is Eric, when I was six years old; my mum took me for a check-up appointment at the dentist. She was actually worried a bit because only one of my front teeth had fully grown.
The dentist confirmed that there was something wrong with the other tooth; even on the x-ray he could not see it completely. My mum explained that I had a fall before my second birthday, I had hit the baby tooth so that it faced inward a bit.
Anyway, the adult tooth was not coming out and that was a mystery for the moment. More x-rays were needed to find out what had happened to the missing tooth! We went back to the car and my mum was very upset about the situation. After a little while, she started to pray and put the situation into the Lord’s hands; we prayed that the tooth was still there and that everything would be fine and so we went back home.
The priority for my parents was to get me to the orthodontist and find out what could be done. The process was very slow, so, my parents and I had a lot of time to pray about it and to contact friends as well to pray. After many months of praying and visits to the dental hospital, my tooth was still not there. My mum woke up one morning with a dream, she saw me smiling with both my front teeth and she had peace.
One day, we had to pray for specific points because we did not agree with the proposed treatment, it’s only when we prayed to God “to bind Satan” that we were free to do what was best for me.
“And the LORD said unto Satan, the LORD rebukes thee, O Satan; even the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebukes thee…”
When the Lord answered this prayer everything starting to go smoother, after a few x-rays, we found out that the root was bent and that the tooth had grown horizontally, hidden in the top of the gum just below the nose, instead of growing downwards normally.
The first miracle was that the tooth was still there. We put the whole situation and healing straight away in the Lord’s hands.
"for he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth."
I didn’t like to go to the dentist anymore, because I had to go so often. The worst thing was when I got my braces; it was so painful in the beginning. After a while, I got used to it. When, we saw the tooth coming down for the first time it was amazing! It took only a bit more than six months for the treatment to be completed. I don’t need to wear braces anymore and I got my tooth back as the Lord had promised. Praise the Lord. The dental professionals said that it will take years and couldn’t guarantee that it would work out, but God was in control!
Praise the Lord for His Faithfulness and everybody who prayed for me thanks you.
