Pre-Flood Artifacts

These test results involve pre-Flood artifacts that force a decision concerning the Flood. They could be the fulcrum for a demand like that of Elijah in 1 KINGS 18:21 (paraphrased for modern times!):

"How long will you hesitate between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if humanism be god, follow it."

Such an artifact, is the eight-carat gold necklace, about ten inches long and weighing eight pennyweight, which was found within a large lump of Pennsylvanian coal by Mrs. S. W. Culp of Morrisonville, Illinois, on June 9, 1891. According to Dr. J. R. Jochmans in ‘Strange Relics from the Depths of the Earth' (Bible-Science Association, Inc., 1979, page 17), one portion of the coal lump still clung to the chain, and the portion that had been separated from it still bore the impression of the encased chain. This Pennsylvanian coal, according to the theory of evolution, would be about 300 million years old!

Another such artifact is the iron pot which was found in 1912 by two employees of the Municipal Electric Plant of Thomas, Oklahoma, who were shovelling coal into the plant furnaces, using fuel that had been mined near neighbouring Wilberton. As described by Dr. Jochmans on page 18, they broke a large lump with a sledge-hammer and found this pot within it. When the pot was removed, the two halves of the coal lump bore the "mould" of the pot in their interiors. By evolutionary theory this coal was dated from 300 to 325 million years ago!

See 2 PETER 3:1-6 and 2 PETER 3:7-14.
